ITINERARY

DAY 1 — KATHMANDU → SOTI KHOLA

Begin the journey with a scenic drive towards the Manaslu region.

Continue through mountain roads and riverside landscapes to Soti Khola.

Overnight: Soti Khola

DAY 2 — SOTI KHOLA → MACHHA KHOLA

Begin trekking along the Budhi Gandaki River.

Cross suspension bridges and move through lush lower-elevation landscapes.

Overnight: Machha Khola

DAY 3 — MACHHA KHOLA → JAGAT

Continue deeper into the Budhi Gandaki Valley.

The trail passes through forests, waterfalls and dramatic river landscapes before reaching Jagat.

Overnight: Jagat

DAY 4 — JAGAT → DENG

The trail enters increasingly remote mountain terrain.

Continue through traditional settlements and along the river towards Deng.

Overnight: Deng

DAY 5 — DENG → NAMRUNG

Gradually gain elevation as the valley narrows.

The architecture, culture and landscape begin to show stronger Tibetan influence.

Overnight: Namrung

DAY 6 — NAMRUNG → SAMA GAUN

Continue through high mountain landscapes with increasingly dramatic views of Manaslu.

Arrive at Samagaun, one of the most important villages on the circuit.

Overnight: Samagaun

DAY 7 — SAMA GAUN

Acclimatization Day

Take a dedicated acclimatization day.

Optional excursions may include Birendra Lake, Manaslu Base Camp or nearby viewpoints depending on conditions and group ability.

Return to Samagaun for the night.

Overnight: Samagaun

DAY 8 — SAMA GAUN → SAMDO

Continue towards Samdo, the final major settlement before the high pass.

The landscape becomes increasingly stark and alpine.

Overnight: Samdo

DAY 9 — SAMDO → DHARAMSALA

Preparing for Larkya La

A shorter trekking day takes you towards Dharamsala / Larkya Phedi.

Rest and prepare for the following day's high-altitude crossing.

Overnight: Dharamsala

DAY 10 — LARKYA LA → BIMTHANG

The Great Crossing

Begin before sunrise for the ascent towards Larkya La.

Cross the pass at approximately 5,106 m and enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Descend dramatically towards Bimthang.

This is the defining day of the Manaslu Circuit.

Overnight: Bimthang

DAY 11 — BIMTHANG → TILIJE

Descend through beautiful alpine and forest landscapes.

The environment gradually becomes greener as the altitude decreases.

Overnight: Tilije

DAY 12 — TILIJE → DHARAPANI

Continue towards Dharapani and connect with the wider Annapurna region.

Overnight: Dharapani

DAY 13 — DHARAPANI → BESISAHAR → KATHMANDU

Leave the mountains by road and continue towards Kathmandu.

The landscape gradually changes from high mountain terrain to green Himalayan foothills.

Overnight: Kathmandu

DAY 14 — KATHMANDU

Departure
