ITINERARY

DAY 1 — KATHMANDU

Arrival & Private Welcome

Arrive in Kathmandu and meet your Alsafinah Travel representative.

Transfer to your hotel and settle into your accommodation.

The remainder of the day is reserved for rest and preparation. Your guide will provide a detailed briefing and ensure that everything is ready for the journey ahead.

Overnight: Kathmandu

DAY 2 — KATHMANDU → DHARAPANI

Into the Annapurna Region

Begin the journey with a scenic drive towards the Annapurna region.

As the road leaves the Kathmandu Valley, the landscape gradually changes from cities and foothills to rivers, forests and mountain villages.

Continue towards Dharapani, the gateway to the higher Annapurna region.

Overnight: Dharapani

DAY 3 — DHARAPANI → CHAME

Begin trekking through pine and rhododendron forests with increasingly dramatic Himalayan scenery.

Continue towards Chame, the administrative center of Manang District.

Overnight: Chame

DAY 4 — CHAME → PISANG

The landscape becomes increasingly alpine as the trail follows the Marsyangdi River.

Pass through traditional villages and dramatic mountain scenery before reaching Pisang.

Overnight: Pisang

DAY 5 — PISANG → MANANG

Continue towards the high mountain valley of Manang.

The landscape becomes drier and more Tibetan in character, with expansive views of the Annapurna range.

Arrive in Manang and settle into your accommodation.

Overnight: Manang

DAY 6 — MANANG

Acclimatization Day

A dedicated acclimatization day allows your body to adjust to the increasing altitude.

Enjoy a gentle exploration around Manang or take an optional higher-elevation hike before returning to the village.

This day is an important part of the itinerary before continuing towards Thorong La.

Overnight: Manang

DAY 7 — MANANG → YAK KHARKA

Leave Manang and gradually enter the high alpine environment.

The trail climbs through open landscapes with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.

Continue to Yak Kharka.

Overnight: Yak Kharka

DAY 8 — YAK KHARKA → THORONG PHEDI

A shorter but important day as you approach the highest point of the trek.

Walk towards Thorong Phedi, the staging point below Thorong La Pass.

Rest and prepare for an early start the following morning.

Overnight: Thorong Phedi

DAY 9 — THORONG PHEDI → THORONG LA → MUKTINATH

The High Point of the Journey

Begin before sunrise for the ascent to Thorong La Pass at approximately 5,416 m.

Reach the summit and take in panoramic views across the surrounding Himalayan ranges.

Descend towards Muktinath, one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the Himalayas.

The dramatic change in landscape from the high pass to the dry Mustang region makes this one of the defining days of the Annapurna Circuit.

Overnight: Muktinath

DAY 10 — MUKTINATH → JOMSOM

Continue descending through the arid landscapes of Mustang.

Pass through traditional villages and continue along the Kali Gandaki Valley towards Jomsom.

Overnight: Jomsom

DAY 11 — JOMSOM → POKHARA

Travel from the mountains towards Pokhara.

As the altitude decreases, the landscape changes once again, returning to greener valleys and subtropical scenery.

Arrive in Pokhara and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Overnight: Pokhara

DAY 12 — POKHARA → KATHMANDU

Return to Kathmandu by road or domestic flight, according to the selected package and operational conditions.

Your Annapurna Circuit journey comes to an end.
