ITINERARY
DAY 1 — KATHMANDU → LUKLA → PHAKDING
The Journey Begins
Take an early scenic flight towards Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region.
After landing, begin your first trek along the Dudh Koshi River towards Phakding.
Overnight: Phakding
DAY 2 — PHAKDING → NAMCHE BAZAAR
Continue through pine forests, suspension bridges and traditional mountain settlements.
Enter Sagarmatha National Park and gradually climb towards Namche Bazaar, the cultural and commercial heart of the Khumbu region.
Overnight: Namche Bazaar
DAY 3 — NAMCHE BAZAAR
Acclimatization Day
Take a dedicated acclimatization day in Namche.
Enjoy an optional hike towards the Everest View area or explore the surrounding Sherpa villages.
Return to Namche for a comfortable evening.
Overnight: Namche Bazaar
DAY 4 — NAMCHE → TENGBOCHE
Follow the trail above the Dudh Koshi Valley with spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Everest.
Arrive at Tengboche and visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, one of the major Buddhist centers of the Khumbu region.
Overnight: Tengboche
DAY 5 — TENGBOCHE → DINGBOCHE
Continue through alpine forests and traditional villages towards Dingboche.
As the altitude increases, the landscape becomes increasingly open and dramatic.
Overnight: Dingboche
DAY 6 — DINGBOCHE
Acclimatization Day
Take another important acclimatization day.
Enjoy an optional hike to a higher elevation before returning to Dingboche.
The day allows you to prepare for the higher sections of the trail.
Overnight: Dingboche
DAY 7 — DINGBOCHE → LOBUCHE
Continue towards the Khumbu Glacier.
The trail passes through increasingly rugged terrain with magnificent views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Arrive at Lobuche.
Overnight: Lobuche
DAY 8 — LOBUCHE → GORAK SHEP → EVEREST BASE CAMP
This is one of the defining days of the journey.
Trek towards Gorak Shep before continuing to Everest Base Camp.
Stand at the foot of the world's highest mountain and experience the immense Khumbu landscape surrounding the base camp.
Return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Overnight: Gorak Shep
DAY 9 — KALA PATTHAR → PHERICHE
Sunrise Above Everest
Begin early for the ascent to Kala Patthar.
At approximately 5,545 m, Kala Patthar offers one of the most celebrated panoramic viewpoints of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan giants.
Descend towards Pheriche.
Overnight: Pheriche
DAY 10 — PHERICHE → NAMCHE BAZAAR
Begin the descent through the Khumbu Valley.
As the altitude decreases, vegetation gradually returns and the trail becomes greener.
Continue to Namche Bazaar.
Overnight: Namche Bazaar
DAY 11 — NAMCHE → LUKLA
Your final full day of trekking follows the trail back towards Lukla.
Enjoy the last Himalayan landscapes and celebrate the completion of your Everest journey.
Overnight: Lukla
DAY 12 — LUKLA → KATHMANDU
Take the scenic flight back to Kathmandu, subject to weather and operational conditions.
Private transfer to your hotel or onward destination.
